Is the Devil you know really better than the one you don’t?

Are the DEMOCRATS right? Or are the REPUBLICANS? Or in reality are they both wrong! Representative Tulsi Gabbard democrat from Hawaii went on a fact finding mission to Syria. Democratic leadership in Congress was upset with her because they claim no one knew she was going there. This of course was not true as the DOD/Department of Defense did know Gabbard was making the trip. When asked if she meet with the president of Syria Bashar al-Assad, she said she had. Everyone went crazy over this stating, and asking how she could meet with a Butcher. Gabbard’s response was priceless as she stated in order to achieve peace we must first have a conversation with both are friends and enemies. Also while in Syria representative Gabbard meet with average people on the streets. What she found by talking to average people was somewhat shocking and quite frankly very concerning.

Upon talking to the Syrian people they asked Rep. Gabbard several times a question she did not have an answer for. That question was why the United States was supplying AL Qaeda and ISIS rebels with ARMS? Rep. Gabbard taken back by this question, she was asked several times said “you mean why are we supplying the moderate rebels with ARMS”? The response she got to that statement was shocking as the Syrians told her there was no such thing as a moderate rebel. Now supplying foreign rebels with ARMS is nothing new. This country has been doing that type of shit for centuries but never have we supplied one enemy we are currently fight with ARMS to fight against another dictator we also don’t like. AS someone who voted for President OBAMA twice, to find out that the American government was supplying ARMS to ISIS and Al Qaeda at a time when we are still at war with terrorism is flat ridiculous.  

At first you think to yourself this can’t be real it’s just the other side playing politics. But, then to find out it is another Democrat saying this and she is from Hawaii too. At this time with it being the same party and from the same place as the President, makes one really think it is more likely true than not.

Don’t think the REPUBLICANS are getting off the hook here either. As you know people like Senator Marco Rubio and Senator Bob Corker the chair of the Foreign Relations Committee would’ve had to known and signed off on this as well. So the question is this why would the DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP be mad at one of their own members for taking this trip? Is it because some of them wanted to go with her, is it because like the REPUBLICANS they feel like she should not have been meeting with President Bashar al-Assad and conversely giving him more credibility. Or is it simply because they did not want the under handed dirty deeds of selling ARMS to the number 1 and 2 enemies of the US to see the light of day. Is it because if Representative Gabbard is right then that further supports the idea that as much as the right and left want to act like they are so different in reality they make the same bad decisions all the time. So ask yourselves this question rather it’s selling ARMS to rebels to over throw a dictator only for them to come to power later and be worse dictators, or it is REPUBLICAN and DEMOCRATS making the same mistakes together over and over again! ASK yourself this is the Devil you know really better than the one you do not know or are they both just DEVILS?
